FAULK AND FOSTER REAL ESTATE INC
Faulk & Foster was established in 1945 with the merger of Gilbert Faulk Real Estate and Robert Foster Insurance in Monroe, Louisiana. In 1972, John W. Perry joined the Faulk & Foster team as a Real Estate Agent, leading up to his purchase of Faulk & Foster in 1977. In the late 1980’s, Faulk & Foster divested the insurance division and focused on commercial and residential real estate.
Being well equipped to handle the advanced real estate work required for wireless communication tower transactions, Faulk & Foster began working for the telecommunications industry providing land acquisition for cellular tower sites in 1985. Automated acquisitions and reporting systems were created to organize the extensive site acquisition information. These systems became the foundation of Faulk & Foster’s success among wireless clients. A fully licensed brokerage firm, Faulk & Foster divested its residential real estate endeavors and focused on commercial and industrial real estate in late 1989.
Maintaining a focus on our telecommunications services, the Company expanded to accommodate the many applications of network development, including the addition of zoning/permitting and construction scheduling. In 1995, Faulk & Foster expanded its geographic market with a Regional Office in Grand Rapids, MI.
In 2007, Faulk & Foster extended our twenty-two years of site development experience to the growing renewable energy sector. By providing scoping, feasibility and land acquisition services to support solar and wind projects, we have enabled our customers to focus on their core business of renewable infrastructure and achieve success.
As a leading telecommunications consultant for 30 years, Faulk & Foster is ideally positioned to serve increased demand for fiber implementation. In 2015, we officially launched our Fiber business. In addition to comprehensive ROW acquisition services, we provide turnkey outside plant (OSP) engineering, construction and inspection services.
The team at Faulk & Foster has in-depth knowledge on thousands of sites, tower co-locations and local jurisdictions across the United States. Today we have a nationwide network of local resources in approximately 40 states, with zoning experience in over 3500 jurisdictions and a zoning approval rate of 98%. We have worked on over 500 wind and solar projects with footprints ranging from 5000 to 150,000 acres with over 700 separate landowners. We are also currently providing engineering and construction services for FTTx, Metro-E, and fiber long-haul transport expansions for carriers across the U.S.
We hold in highest value our commitments to our customers and our connections with carriers, tower companies, municipalities and the best local site agents in the business.
